Why does AXN english have German shows on

We paid for an English channel package on Kabel Deutschland. I know customer service in Germany is just horrible especially when you have lived in the States like I have where customer service is very good. Why can`t German customer service just be lets say helpful?? We have AXN english..which in my understanding means shows in English language. There are several movies which are American but they are dubbed in German..my question is why?????If this is AXN English and the movie is American why does the channel dub it to German?? My husband is German. He called KD help desk and they said they will look into it. They did BUT the product management said yeah they know about it but thats it, no finding a solution..what kind of people work in KD?? You have a problem you solve it, that is your job. Just unnacceptable behaviour.

You must speak with AXN why they are doing this. Its not KDG .

Do you really mean american movies? I've only seen german shows in german.

Would be better if you order Premium HD. There you have the channels in HD and in english.

I think he meant SK Koelsch etc.
He paid vor KD English and thought he will get only English Series and Movies on AXN.
But AXN also have German Crime Shows on that is only availible in german.
AXN only airing ONE AXN Version, but KD seperate the German Version and the English Version into 2 Channels, so they can make money with the English Language.

AXN in Germany just isn't a TV channel that promotes itself as an English-audio-only broadcaster. They schedule movies, series etc. they think fit their profile accordingly. It's about content, not about language.

AXN, however, offers both English and German audio -- IF available... just like you get it back home in the States with SAP: IF available. If not, then English-only in the US.

KDG back in the days generally decided to split up (almost) any premium channel by audio to market it separately. And there's the gap you are experiencing.

If AXN is not offering English as an audio option, then a) they either don't have the rights to do so, or 2) the show hasn't even been dubbed so far.
